Midwest Tree Pros did some preventive work in our back yard a while back that involved a tricky situation where our power line ran down the middle of a stately wild cherry tree. I was concerned that a strong wind would bring it or limbs from it down on our tri-ax. It was quite involved with the crew having to rig stay lines all over the place to protect our electricity. They completed the felling in what I thought was quite a timely manner considering the complications, recommended some additional trimming based on their experience and arbor knowledge, cleaned up and overall did a fine job. I am hiring them again to clean up some storm damage from other trees on my property now.

The owners of this company are dishonest and I wouldn't hire them to prune a shrub. Carla Golden and Mike Dilday are thieves and liars. (I have to give credit where credit is due. The foreman, Travis, did a great job trimming a very large tree in the back yard BUT) During the job, substantial damage was done to my gutters, fence and about a hundred dollars worth of pavers. Carla, the contractor, said that it would all be fixed the next day. She gave me her "personal guarantee" and even wrote the repairs on the receipt. However, she required that I pay for the tree work in cash and before the repair work was done. I never saw her again and she won't answer my calls or return my messages. So I went to the owner of the company. He answered the phone the first time I called and said he just needed to get the phone number of the gutter guy. That was two weeks ago and he won't answer the phone or return my calls either. Now I am left with $250 worth of damage to my property due to the owners not taking responsibility for it. I am looking for a lawyer.
