About us
Quality provison in personal and leadership skills development in relation to mountain navigation, scrambling and/or rock climbing from a fully qualified and insured AMI mountaineering instructor (MIA). Provison includes preparation and refresher days for (S)ML, SPA, CWA and MIA, instructing and guiding on single and multi-pitch crags and technical scrambles. Whether you are looking to learn new skills and become safer and more competent on the crags and mountains, or want to develop and refresh your existing skills; we will tailor the provison to meet your needs. Mountain Escape mostly operates in the Lake District, but we also offer provison in Northumberland (Single Pitch rock-climbing) as well as a full range of provison (Walk-Scramble-Climb) in Snowdonia and the Scottish Highlands. In addition, we also offer a technical advisor service for providers of land-based (and water-based) adventurous activities in the north of England. All specialist equipment (helmets, harnesses, climbing gear and ropes) can be provided. Specific skills courses and dates will be advertised, but please feel free to contact us if you would like to book a private session (individually, as a pair of climbing partners or as a small group) Prices vary depending on the activity, but are always competative.
