  Hi everyone. Does anybody have some recommendations of well priced good vets in the Auckland area? My dog has some issues which relate to the bowel but basically no real diagnosis after initial consultation. Suggested hospitalisation exploratory tests to identify. Quote for 1 night $1200 plus though I was told that could double.

  It would be unlikely you would have a diagnosis after just one visit, good history and good clinical exam. It is most likely the veterinarian you saw will have a list of differential diagnoses that tests eg bloods, urinalysis, faecal samples and imaging or sometimes histopathology will enable a diagnosis.
