  Hi my mum lives at The Square, Hawkesclough and they flooded badly in June my mum has stopped with us ever since. Tonight the drains started backing up again so I phoned the council and they told me where my mum lives the Square in unadopted. The council advised us to get our own drain engineer in - can anyone advise or provide details of reliable drain engineer. Also, will my mum and the residents of The Square be able to approach the flood fund for help???? Everytime it rains the drains back up !!!! Any advice greatly appreciated !!

  Ben, you are an absolute star. That information, certainly never passed to me, will enable me to sleep at night - seriously!
