Pants hemmed, seam out of a dress or skirt..buttons sewed back on, ect...prices vary -pants hemmed $9.00 (cut off and hemmed $10.00). . NO job to big or to small! I ALSO do patch work, if you have a favorite pair of jeans that has been torn, they can be fixed!
I also teach sewing, if you want to learn starting at the basic and up. $45.00 for 4 hour classes. Private message for information
Queen size tshirt quilt- 90 x 90, 36 12" squares-- $350.00
King size tshirt quilt 108 x 90, 42 12' squares --$450
Lap Throws- 52" X 62"- 12, 12" squares- $150.00
Lap Throws- 62" X 62"-14 to 16 ,12" squares - $175.00
Lap quilts WITH OUT fabric strips in between the squares:
1) 16, 12" squares - $150.00 50 x 60
2) 12, 12" squares- $125.00 50 x 45
Memory quilts with baby clothes using 6" sqs- 50 x 60- $150
62 x 62 - $190
Memory quilts with other clothing, depends on the pattern- some 50 x 60 - $150
I require half down when you bring me the t-shirts. it will take any where from10 to12 weeks to finish the quilt depending on what I have.
To make t-shirt quilts I cut 12 & 1\2" squares, so if your shirt has a front and back print, count that as 2 squares, most ball shirts do. I iron stabilizer on each shirt so the fabric does not stretch. I use a 2" strip (more or less) of your choice of color fabric in between each square and then I frame the quilt with the same color fabric, I use flat sheets for the back and can get alot of colors, the colors are posted at the end of this. If you don't have enough shirts I can fill in with the back of your shirt, it will just be a empty square (if I do this I don't like using alot). OR other fabric that you bring me. ALSO, if your t-shirt's print is bigger than my 12" squares I get as much as I can, BUT if you want ALL of the print on the quilt there is a extra charge of $100.00 to use different size squares. Some large and x-large shirts have bigger prints.
Please wash ALL t-shirts before you bring them, even though they have been washed and worn already, this... show more freshens then up because most have been saved over the years, thank you!
Crib Quilts- 45 X 60- start at 150.00, ALSO depending on what you want.
Crib quilts can be done in any color or print you want as long as I can find it! I now have a web site that I can order most any print form, since I am limited from buying around home.
Colors for back of t-shirt quilts: NAVY BLUE, BABY BLUE, SKY BLUE, RED(MORE BRICK RED), BURGUNDY, GREY, BLACK, BEIGE, WHITE, OFF WHITE, TEAL, CORAL, ORANGE,SAGE GREEN, PINK AND PURPLE..I think thats all if not I'll post the others later.I have a sample of most of these colors and most are in pictures of my quilts also. If you want any other colors for the back, I will have to get fabric to piece and the price will be more depending on the size of your quilt.
