  Looking for suggestions on family friendly destinations with animal rescue or animal sanctuary options for an October vacation with my daughter (10 years old). Ideally some-where reasonably close, hot and sunny (Florida area would be ok, for example). Trying to avoid standard zoos, seaworld type place, or places with "swim with the dolphins". Ideally looking for nature being natural!! Any suggestions??
