  www.daslight.com Not the cheapest, but I really like it. Also love the way you can layer effects over each other. Allows me to run separate chases for movements, colours, gobos etc

  Daslight has the possibility of adding a speed fader to scenes so you can manually adjust the speed

  it also depends on if you lights have sound to light DMX value on them as well. daslight does have an audio analyser. What lights are you using

  Daslight here. Don't use the onboard laptop mic though. Take a feed from booth/sub output of your mixer if possible and feed to a basic usb sound card with an input on. Adjust the audio analyser to suit what you're playing. Right click the chase and select 'step on bpm' or 'step with fade on bpm' job done. Can always right click and select 'time' to go back to return to the show running with steps & fades as programmed
