  Question from the Inbox ~ hi! my husband just got orders to ramstein, germany. this is going to be my first real pcs and i am a bit nervous. any information on the area, schools, housing, base groups and activities it would be greatly appreciated. also if anyone has any advice on furniture stores for once we get there or what the weight limit is and possibly any websites that help you calculate how much what you have is going to weigh that would be awesome as well. thanks in advance.

  Don't wait until you get here for furniture, local furniture is very expensive and modern style. You can get used furniture through www.ramsteinyardsales.com but it's a gamble if they have what you need, when you need it. The BX sells furniture but it can be 6 weeks to 6 months depending on what it is.
