Shoe Repair I'm looking for suggestions on a good, experienced shoe repairman (and, hopefully, cleaner) in the area. I'm an umpire looking to get my shoes cleaned up and repaired during this winter. The shoes are fairly clean now, but I'd love to get them cleaned up really nice.
My base shoes just need an all-around cleaning and shining, but my plate shoes ([New Balance 450](http://i.imgur.com/5Zu0V.jpg)) need some repair to the tops of the toes (catcher's cleats cut one of them) and to the rivets/material just about the toes. In addition, they'll need a good cleaning and shining.
The work is probably a bit unusual, as there aren't thousands of umpires around. I'm willing to travel anywhere in the area, especially if there's someone who does a great job.
Thanks, Redditors!

So, this is weird, but I actually know of one place you should avoid. [Cobblestone on Olive/Clarkson](http://www.cobblestoneshoerepair.com/). The guys who runs it is... pretty incredibly rude. And don't just take my word for it. The Google maps reviews mostly agree. Sorry I don't actually know of a good place.
