Ideas, anyone? Just got a call from a woman from the eastern part of the state who's homeless and whose family is now at the Econolodge in Chicopee. She applied for unemployment and was turned down for cash benefits because of pending unemployment. So she has no money, very little food, and a daughter with Type I diabetes pretty out of control right now with only a microwave for cooking. No car. She really needs food or meals or grocery gift certificates. Are there churches or other agencies in the Chicopee area that might be willing to help? Ideas, anyone?
