I am looking for a licensed home inspector that is reasonably priced.

AF Vet owns this inspection service and I've used him myself. "Reasonably priced" will mean different things to different people. Brett's service was reasonably priced to me. http://www.amerispec.net/six
Hi, we are looking for a reputable home inspector. A trustworthy one that is reasonably priced. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We used AmeriSpec (http://www.amerispec.com/), and Lou Conte ASHI, ACI was the inspector (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/lou-conte/15/768/94 b), when we had him come out and document some water damage from a leaky shower as our independent consultant when dealing with the builder (who was great about it by the way). Lou was incredibly thorough and spent a good deal of time with me discussing possible causes and solutions, about 90 min total for a leaky shower). I'm not sure of the total cost of what a whole home inspection would be, but IMHO whoever you go with, go after referrals and examples of work. We hired a cheaper inspector in a previous house and the report was woefully inadequate. $300-500 for a $250 k+ investment is well worth it IMHO. Give Lou a call or reach out to Amerispec, we liked him and was a referral from another resident here. Glad we used him. Ver, very professional.
Anyone have a home inspector suggestion? Licensed, reputable?

We went thru Amerispec excuse the spelling. They were great even talk and walk with you thru everything on the inspection and they give you a whole binder on everything. http://www.amerispec.com/
