About us
I am a summer baby, a Leo to be exact; I love basking in the sun or dancing in the middle of a thunderstorm. I love anything rustic and bohemian and love a good flea market! My style of photography is merely a reflection of myself; I shoot only with natural light and try to do minimal posing, as I like capturing the true personality of my client not a false identity.
I was privileged enough to grow up in a gorgeous area in Northern British Columbia, a place I go back to every year. I come from a family who loves to explore and travel and has taught me life really is what you make it. Although I am now based in the Comox Valley on beautiful Vancouver Island, my photography allows me to travel around the province, the country and the world.
Since I was given my first film camera at age 10, photography is the only thing I have ever wanted to do. After studying photography in high school I continued my education at North Island College on Vancouver Island, graduating with my Professional Photographer’s Certificate in June 2011.
I have had the honour of being published in several magazines including the cover of Lemonade and Lenses for the August Boudoir Issue, Heart Magazine, Fabulous Mama and Family (Dutch), Flying Magazine and BC Hunter for my landscape and wildlife work. Online I have been published by; Huffington Post, Baby Centre, KidSpot Australia, PopSugar, Global News, 9Gag, My Modern Met, The Daily Mail UK, Mamma, Ouders Van Nu, Cosmo, Epic Parenting, Gazeta (Poland), Linda (Netherlands), TV3 (Lithuania), Lemonade and Lenses, The Dark Room, In Beauty and Chaos, The Gratitude Collaborative, Beyond Wanderlust, On To Baby, Designsponge and many others for my boudoir, couple, wedding, children and fine art work. I have also been awarded first place several times in Dallas Safari International Photography Contest.
I used to photograph all my favourite things so I would never forget them and I like to think that is what I am doing now only for others. Giving them the... show more
gift of stopping time, capturing their favourite things so for years to come they can pull that photo out and instantly remember how they felt in that moment.
My dream is to continue what I do and be given a chance to capture your story. show more
