I bought a number of SFHs in 2015--each around $55k--and have a number of capital improvements to them. I used a local bank to purchase them at 20% down, 5% interest and 15 yr ammortization. I would average them to be worth around $70k to $75k and I think it would be worth it to bundle them and do a cash out refi to recover my downpayment. Does anyone have a recommendation for a lender that can do this? Any thoughts on whether this is the right strategy?
