  Driving around I see quite a few modern houses with the date the house was built carved into a brick somewhere on the front The house we are buying which is well BMV ( hence asking here ) was built in 1860 I would like to mark this in a similar way A quick Google search hasnt helped, has anyone any idea where I can get a brick custom made with the year on it

  Found it, homebuildingsupplies.co.uk and they are called date stones £116.55 plus vat which struck me as quite pricey but its exactly what I was looking for
