  ****Doctor's/Dentist Surgeries **** Lots of surgeries send automatic appointment reminders. They are going to be innundated with calls from 8.00 onwards. Warwick Road, Victoria Place & Aglionby Street, Carlisle area will be affected. *****it would be very helpful if anyone has news about particular surgeries anywhere in Cumbria to post on here to prevent the volume of calls, some staff could well be affected*****

  Cumbria Floods For Hawkshead and Coniston people - The pharmacy in Hawkshead will be open 12 noon until at least 2 pm. I can offer normal pharmacy services including ensuring supply of medicines for any visitors stuck here. Arrangements are in place for medical advice from Dr Rimington and Dr Ward if needed. The pharmacy telephone number is 015394 36201 or leave a message on here (no personal medical details or name please) and I'll get back to you. A reminder that for medical situations out of hours the number is 111 and to use 999 in the event of life threatening emergency only.
