Question: I live in a 1940s home in Inglewood and I'm looking for someone to completely redo the ceiling in my office. It has a crack along the length of it and it needs to be completely redone. It's made of cement board and plaster and it is not a structural problem, the ceiling is just too heavy for the 1 inch nails they used to attach it. I would like to redo it with drywall, not plaster.
Is there anyone who does this type of drywall work and is looking for a smallish job?
I'd also like a quote for my kitchen ceiling to be resmoothed and recessed lights reset in it. (Whoever did it before did a bad job). This should be a pretty small job.
Let me know if you (or anyone you know!) would be interested.
