Town and Country Real Estate, Inc. was founded in 1961 by Calhoun Mays, Jr. and has since been a cornerstone in the real estate community around Greenwood, S.C. and the Palmetto State.
Since the beginning, they have had a hand in the development of commercial and residential real estate. Some of Town and Country's projects include Chinquapin, Bell Meade, and Gatewood, which is a premium full-amenity residential development with 350 lots. Town and Country also partnered in the development of Wyboo Plantation on Lake Marion and partnered in the founding of Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island.
