  We use these, http://www.totalworkwear.co.uk/amblers-safety-boots/amblers-safety-ankle-boot-fs151.html at work, and I use them on my allotment, they are comfortable, not too heavy and fairly waterproof, pretty cool in the summer but might need.an extra pair of socks in the winter!
