Hotels are too expensive for that amount of time so I'm looking for someone who takes lodgers/needs a housesitter etc?

  We stayed in bonsyde holiday cottages during our extension - they were on a week by week basis. Not sure if they're still available but maybe worth checking out! http://www.linlithgowcottages.com
