Any first-hand recommendations for surgical vet for canine ACL repair? Cost isn't a concern (well, it is...but, you know) -- skill, ability and reputation is paramount. Prefer local (not Gainesville). Thank you!

Dr. Hay is wonderful, I believe he is located in Tampa. My vet has emailed x-rays of two of my Dachshunds with broken jaws from the shelter. In both cases the breaks were in just the right spot that no surgery was required, But many vets all over Florida and even out of state consult with him. Hi pet lovers! My poor baby has a torn meniscus. (Husky lab mix)The surgeon my vet recommended is an amazing surgeon but wants to take my life savings plus some.
Can you guys give me the names and phone numbers of your favorite vet who does this type of surgery. I know it'll be expensive but I really can't afford anything more than 2k.
P.s. I tried care credit.. didn't work for me.

Dr. Hay in Tampa is amazing. Definitely worth the travel. I no longer recommend Dr. Easom after a bad experience. http://vetsurgical.net/
I'm new to the north port area and searching for an affordable orthopedic veterinarian. Does anyone have any recommendations they can share? Appreciate ya in advance

Dr Callum Hay is the best orthopedic vet but he's in Tampa. I will travel as far as I need for the right vet. We have working dogs and I wouldn't let anyone else operate on one of mine if it's ortho related. http://www.vetsurgical.net But what are you needing? My vet does chiropractic adjustments, etc.
