  The £5000 flood grant: Anyone else tried to find a specialist surveyor?turns out no one at the council can either! I have contacted two council senior officers over the last week and neither are able to help. In fairness, I was told the Leeds council were facing similar problems. Any councillors, other professionals have any ideas?

  

  Sharron H. replied:

  I emailed the council and asked them to confirm what a 'Competent Surveyor' was. They confirmed RICS or something similar was acceptable. Others are saying that they've been told it's not necessary. (See Isolde Davey's post and an earlier one from me). Today I have had s survey done by 'Pell Frischmann' from Wakefield. 01924 368145.
