  I've had some expensive dresses altered, but not a formal gown. However, if I had the need I'd go to Roya at Alex & Roya Custom Tailoring. She's really good. 490 Camino de Estrella, 949-240-8210. She is in the old KMart plaza under construction on the far side behind the liquor store.
