J asks: My son (3) is terrified of blood tests & screams and squirms so much the nurses at collection centres are unable to take the sample. I've had him held firmly on my lap, tried coaxing, bribing, preparing in advance etc. Does anyone have any suggestions about specific places we can go that specialise in taking blood from kids, or any strategies we might try, please? He really needs to have the tests done. T asks: Hi can you put the question out regarding accommodation for this Australia Day long weekend for one adult and two children about an hour or more out of Perth I live in the midland area, recently become a single mum and would like to end the school holidays with a nice little getaway that's inexpensive. Thankyou N asks: can someone please explain Pre Kindy to me (costs, eligibility,...) and possibly recommend one in the Belmont or surrounding areas. OR is it best to stick to one closest to where they will later attend school (TBD)?? we are not entitled to any Childcare rebate so my daughter has never attended daycare but I feel she is missing out. she will turn 3 in April. thanks in advance
