  Hi, I have a proper heatsource hs2000 which I need installing into my self build (ex mobile library). Because its Gas i'm trying to find an engineer who will install it but most companies are saying they can't do it. I am debating wether to do it myself now, I've done the whole build myself so far anyway. Or is there anyone in the Plymouth area who someone can recommend?   It's very simple if you're not simple 😉. Joking aside, if you do some research and you're confident in working carefully then there's nothing to it. Make sure you get lpg rated fittings, run the pipe in copper with as few joints as possible. Use gas compression fittings, install an isolator valve and a dropout through the floor under any joint in the run (try just to have a single length of pipe from the regulator to the isolator valve and from the valve to the appliance).   Can anyone tell me where I can get a suitable gas connection? This is a Carver 1800 gas heater from a caravan that I want to install in my van. There is a threaded 12.5mm / 1/2 inch connection on the heater to which the copper pipe and nut were connected. I want a connector that threads on to the heater at one end and the other end allows attachment of an 8mm gas hose with a clamp.
