Where are you from and how did you get into this business?
Originally from Chicago Ill (born and raised) I'm a product of a professional stylist :)
Describe a typical work day for you?
A typical work day for me is encouraging curly girls to embrace their kinks and enhancing their glam!
From where do you draw your enthusiasm and inspiration for the job?
My inspiration comes from the faith I have that says we are all fearfully and wonderfully made! I enjoy reminding my clients of this when they are discouraged about their particular tresses. In addition, my husband; whom I love, encourages me and inspires me daily to pursue my dream! I'm doing just that !
How can a customer ensure that they receive the best possible service from you?
By trusting me when they sit in my chair and being honest with me about their previous hair regimen. That is so important during a consultation. In order to take you to point B, I would need to know what happen at point A. That plays a HUGE role in the final results of your hair care.
What has been your most memorable experience on the job?
Ahh! After stying a client, I turned her around in the chair to face the mirror and she literally yells, "oh my goodness I love it!!!" That gave me goose bumps and was such a blessing to experience . :)
