Any bank allow international wire transfers while outside the country? I have lived outside of Canada since 2015 and visit once every year or two. I need to wire money a few times a year mostly to myself but sometimes for business and So far that seems impossible unless I fly to Canada and do it in person. I’m paying a ton in banking fees because of this. I am in Canada now and I’ve asked several big five banks and all said it’s not possible. Can anyone here recommend a bank that can do this? I explained my situation to my bank but they don’t care and can’t offer a solution.

Another service you may wish to explore is www.knightsbridgefx.com Note that I have never used it so cannot talk from personal experience. However, it may be worthwhile to consider what they have to offer given your needs.
Hey just wondering where the best place in calgary to exchange US money is? I've been hearing calforex is the best? any advice?

Calforex has always been better than TD but TD might price match for you if you play that card. The next,t time I do some exchange I am going to try Knightsbridgefx.com and see how they compare. But like Chris says unless you're doing a pocket full of cash the cost of getting around has to be valued too!
