They re-shingled the roof but did not install the drip edge or ridge vent yet charged me the materials and labour for them. After 2 different conflicting excuses from the owner on why the work was not done yet charged for, the owner promised to come back and finish the job himself. After being stood up many times over the next month, I ended up asking the owner for my money back for the materials and labour charged for the work that wasn't completed. He wouldn't give me my money back saying he'd get the job done instead. I didn't hear from him or see them for some time after that. I ended up having no choice but to contact the Better Business Bureau to try to get the issue resolved. They ignored the BBB's first contact with another no-show. The BBB had to contact them twice before they eventually refunded me $60 for the drip edge and installed the ridge vent. (You can find the report on the BBB site) Do yourself a favour and go with a professional BBB registered company instead and research both a company's name and OWNER before hiring a company (Type a company/person's name and "police" in a search engine, you'd be surprised). Also never pay before the work is 100% complete, even if you have a detailed receipt. Please learn from my mistakes.
