Booked a vacation on TD expedia through Sunwing Vacations using both points and cash for Los Cabos. Everything was great until we hit confirm reservation and the hotel that was originally desired and shown on the website was not the same hotel. The hotel we wanted was the same price as the one we booked, but we have been getting the run around from both Expedia and Sunwing who blame each other. We have screen shots as proof that we booked the correct hotel and when we have been told to email them to Expedia, we only get bounce backs (have been given two different email addresses). We have been back and forth for 4 days now with promises of returned calls and actions to settle this issue, but have not received any feedback from anyone. We would simply just settle and take the hotel we have, but we are meeting friends from Seattle who have booked the originally desired hotel. The hotel we have falls under the same group of hotels as the one we wanted ( they have 5 hotels in Los Cabos) . Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing or any advice on how to render this? Please help!
