  Venice: anyone know of an inexpensive way of getting from the airport to a hotel "located in the heart of Venice, within walking distance of Fortuny Museum, Rialto Bridge, and St. Mary of the Friars. Also nearby are St. Mark's Basilica and St Mark's Campanile." We have been quoted $65pp for shared, or $165pp for private. Also, quoted the same price for transfer from hotel to cruise ship pier.   Try the local water transport, alilaguna. It is about 15 euros one way from Marco Polo airport to downtown Venice. They run frequently and also go to the cruise ship pier. http://www.alilaguna.it/
