  SOLICITOR/CONVEYANCER + BUILDER NEEDED Hello everyone! I've decided to leave the world of rental and make a move on purchasing my first property (in the lovely Battlefield/Cathcart area of course!). I am very close to making an offer so I am now looking for a solicitor/conveyancer. Before I look through the directory could anyone possibly recommend someone? I would like someone local and affordable, and easy to work with :-) Also, I kind of want to take a builder to the 2nd flat viewing with me. I would like to get a rough quote and opinion on the work I want done in the new flat. Interested to see if anyone knows people worth recommending. Thank you in advance!

  Hi. I would recommend Heather Mackay at Cannons Solicitors. I used to work with Heather, she is one of my friends and she was the solicitor in our flat purchase.
