  First time trip to Vegas.. Hotel recommendations? Hi everyone, I'm planning a trip with my girlfriend to Vegas between March 13-17th and I'm having a difficult time picking out a hotel. Our budget is around $800 for a hotel, and I've been looking at hotels such as The D, New York New York, Excalibur, Luxor and Mgm Grand. Basically we're looking for a place that's clean (no bedbugs, bloodstains, etc) and has a pool(my girlfriend likes to swim). Ideally, we'd prefer to stay on the strip, but if need be we'd be willing to walk or take a shuttle or lyft. Any suggestions or tips would be extremely helpful as I really want our first experience to be great. Thanks
