  Stephen Houmard, 843-873-8897, http://www.solidgroundinspections.com. He did my inspection and my neighbor's (Ashley Forest), and he's outstanding. Both my Realtor and the guy we bought our house from (who works at Carolina 1) were impressed. He used to live in Moreland, so he's very familiar with the area.

  First time home buyer looking for Charleston Home Inspectors. I thought there was a Charleston Real Estate subreddit somewhere around here- so I apologize if this is the wrong place to post. We just put an offer on an older house and I am willing to hire 2-3 inspectors. Does anyone have recommendations on some companies?
