  OK, for future reference. Apart from Schwabl's in West Seneca (Erie County), can anyone suggest a good "Beef on Weck" in Cattaraugus or Allegany Counties? I mean the real thing. Not some cheap imitation where they toss microwaved deli roast beef on a bad kummelweck roll. I'm tired of driving to West Seneca when I'm visiting Cattaraugus or Allegany County just to get a professional "Beef on Weck" sandwich. There must be some other "Beef on Weck" pros other than Schwabl's in Western, NY. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

  Beef 'n' Barrel, in Olean, is said by some on this site to have the very best Beef on Weck in existence. It may be the only thing that keeps people living in Olean, but that may just be rumor.
