  Does anyone have recommendations for 'recycling' a wedding dress? I really don't want to drop it at Goodwill and the consignment shop won't take it because it is more than 5 years old. The place that provides dresses to military brides won't take it for the same reason. It is a custom dress and I would love for a bride to use it (alter it to their body/wedding). Any ideas?

  You can always donate your wedding gown to NICU Helping Hands. They have a facebook page. They take your gowns, and have very small gowns made out of them for families who have stillborn babies or their children don't make it. It's a sad thing to have to donate to, but it makes a big difference in the parents hearts. Just a tought.
