I'm an attorney and I handle traffic tickets. A nolo plea does not necessarily keep a citation from being reported to the department of driver services. In fact, it almost never does. A no lo plea may merely be helpful in avoiding points on your license. In my experience, the cost of a lawyer is much less expensive than what increases to insurance premiums could be. I invite you to contact my office to schedule a complimentary initial consultation. You can find out more here: www.chambersquindelaw.com.
