About 10 years ago my sister decided she wanted to get married in Las Vegas. Being her maid of honour I had to go (not that I didn't want to) but I had no idea what I was going to do with my boy Bud (7 year old Shepard cross)
only had a few months to figure it out, within that few months I became very aware of the dangers associated with kennels and boarding and was running out of options and time. I lived out in the country in small town Ontario, bud was used to free roam, country air and peace and quiet. I knew a local Jack Russell breeder (Julianne) in town that was between litters, I set up a coffee meet with her and so began the start of Sit'n Stay.
Julianne had agreed that while I was away she would move into my home in the country and look after bud keeping him in his own habitat and routine of feedings, walks and comfort.
Still nervous I jumped on the plain and left Bud in her care. When I returned it was like I never left. Bud was happy and excited to see me yet not bothered by the fact that I was gone at all, I could tell he was well taken care off and wasn't riddled with anxiety and stress.
To this day Julianne runs "Gone to the Dogs" in that small town Ontario and I am trying to establish a good client base out here with Sit'n Stay.
