Originally built in 1900, as the Station Master’s residence in Williamstown, a year that heralded the excitement of our new federation and the apex of Queen Victoria’s reign. The exuberance of the age is reflected in a host of ornate design features, all lovingly restored: including intricate stained glass, graceful metal lacework, hand carved fretwork and mantelpieces, cast iron fireplaces, polished floorboards and 14-foot ceilings.
