Paid Randale Turley a deposit to begin work on my home. No work has been completed and I would like my money back. I reached out to Mr. Turley via Facebook on 6/13/2015 and sent him pictures of the work I needed completed on my home which included tree trimming, replacing rotted wood, and replacing the back exterior door. He gave me a rough estimate and told me to text him to schedule an appointment. We met at my home on 6/25/2015 and he got a better look at the work that needed to be done and gave me a quote for $360. He said he required a deposit of half before he would begin work and I paid him $180 in cash before he left my home. He wrote down my email and said he would send me a receipt via email. I never received the email. He was supposed to begin the tree trimming process the following day which was Friday 6/26/2015. He claimed to be held up in court all day and did not make it. We spoke over the phone and he said he would come at 10am the following morning (Saturday). By 1pm I had not heard from him so I texted him and he said his work truck was stuck in the mud due to the rain and he was waiting on a tow truck. I did not hear from him again until 6:30 that evening saying he had gotten the truck out of the mud, but he did not say anything about when he was coming. I texted him back at 8:30pm to inform him that if the work could not be done the following day (Sunday) I wanted my deposit back. He responded "Ok." He texted me Sunday at 3pm and said he was leaving church. I assumed that meant he was coming to do the work but that was the last message I received from him. The following day (Monday) I began attempts to reach him via text and phone calls. I even left a voicemail and a message on Facebook. He has likely turned his phone off so that it goes straight to voicemail.
