  Hi - this past Saturday (5.16) we became proud owners of this 85' Avion 34W. Now the fun begins! My first search is for the "Holy Grail" of all Avion owners.... the front rock guard. I'm finding many site of folks fabricating their own, but is there any company in the US making repros of these rock guards or a used trailer sales place that might be selling them? I'm also looking for a repro or original cover for the 2 aluminum propane tanks. My last question... in the front, the top glass window in the center section was replaced with acrylic. Is there a site that sells these replacement glass windows or a link that shows you how to replace this glass window? Thanks and I appreciate your help!

  Anyone know an RV appraiser for an '83 airstream restoration stripped down to the shell with a full rebuild by an RVIA certified builder, including the trailer? Most insurance companies want to use the book value of an '83 airstream. We've put quite a bit more money into it than that. According to Good Sam RV insurance, if I can get an RV appraisal - they will insure it (without depreciation) based on that value. Thanks kindly for any feedback!!
