  I looked at QuiltinaDay.com online today and I really like their site. They have a large selection of pre-cuts (jelly rolls) I'm careful with my money and I think their prices are good. I will definitely talk advantage of sale prices. Many fabric lines to choose. And the very best search I've ever seen.

  Sorry, I don't buy precuts. I cut my own. That said, any reputable shop selling "brand" fabrics will be a good choice. They're all the same; price is the factor. Watch for sales on the "usual" sites. Eleanor Burns has some at 55% off this week at QUilt in a Day, unless they've sold out.

I'm figuring the 9 patch is made up of 2 1/2" squares, my question is since there are so many different fabrics in all the patches, what's the best way to approach it. I know usually you would sew 3- 2 1/2" strips together and then cut but since there are so many fabrics, would you cut a bunch of 2 1/2" squares and then start putting them together?
