What is your favorite local green house/garden center?

I love Valley Nursery. Usually at this time of year they have onion starts, strawberry plants, bareroot trees, other fruit-bearing bushes like gooseberry and blueberry. http://valleynurseryinc.com/

Tamara, I'm so glad you said that. I was going to say Valley Nursery also but was afraid it's not quite local. I've known Brad at Valley for more than 25 years and you won't find a better run nursery. But they're not cheap! ;-)

I love Valley Nursery, but I also try to support Bremerton City Nursery and Cooleens. Valley is great about answering gardening questions in person or via their web site. Great staff there and worth the drive. I sure miss seeing Joe when I go to Cooleens. He was a very kind, generous man.
Quick question: Are there any good nurseries in Kitsap? I'm looking to buy a cherry tree and a bay laurel tree.

Bit of a drive up to Poulsbo, but Valley Nursery is a nice place. I've known the owner Brad for 30 years, he has good stuff. http://www.valleynurseryinc.com/
