About us
Podiatry, also known as Chiropody, is a regulated and highly specialised profession that deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease in the human foot and lower limb.
Podiatry can be used to treat common complaints such as hard skin, corns, verrucae, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, thick nails and wounds, as well as nail cuts and general foot maintenance/care.
Whether a patient has specific problems with their feet, or quite simply wants to take a proactive approach to ensuring their feet are kept healthy, we are happy to help!
We treat male and female patients of all ages, sometimes as a 'one off' and sometimes as part of a regular treatment pattern. Every patient will be listened to and treated as an individual.
Often patients will be slightly nervous or embarrassed on their first visit. Rest assured, we will aim to make your visit as pleasant and relaxing as possible. No matter how bad you think your feet are, we have seen far worse and will aim to send you home feeling a lot happier!
