Jason L. replied:Like anything else there is an association for appraisers that ensures they act according to best practices and are certified to specific standards. http://www.najaappraisers.com/ is the website for ther National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. They offer a search tool for appraisers and there is a good amount of appraisers that come up in Denver and Boulder. You can see specifics on them and ask questions before you select which one.
