  TRADESMEN AND CONTRACTOR REFERRALS So many people write in here looking for referrals for chimney sweeps, electricians, tree service people, contractors, handymen, etc., etc., etc. I thought it could be useful to have a central database of recommendations people could access. I created the inline spreadsheet below, perhaps if everyone took a moment to add 5 of their favorite contractors, we could get a solid, searchable list going. If people actually take part, I'll reformat in a usable way once there's some content. It might never get off the ground, but who knows? It could be our own local angies list for free.

  Excellent idea! I have built a website that contains the info on the people who have asked to be on it. Haven't updated lately, but maybe I could add to it the people who are recommended also. Many who might not be on Facebook. http://ridgefieldbusinessgroup.com/Businesses.html
