Removes all the hard water deposits. Spanky for pumping the septic tanks, see if you can arrange a group discount, might find a few other neighbors who need theirs done and get a group rate if they are pumped on the same day. Check Craigslist, for a used water softer unit... I bought a high end and almost new Collagen unit for a few hundred dollars
