Barwythe Hall, Pedley Hill, Studham (Herts/Beds border) London, ENGLU6 2NU(map)
About us
Barwythe Hall is a fine country home, with elegant entertainment rooms, a grand triple storey entrance hall and magnificent drawing room in the style of a victorian orangery.
Every room in this small private country estate home has panoramic views of the gardens allowing the planting to be enjoyed from inside and out. The gardens are enjoyed from within the house. The double height triple aspect drawing room has eight double full height french doors providing maximum daylight and allowing a sense of being in the garden.
The grounds include 53 gracious 250 year old specimen trees planted at the same time as those at the world famous Kew Gardens, London.
The original Queen Anne well, which would have been hand dug, is around 280 feet deep. You can see right down to the water table.
