  Hey my fellow irving people!! I've been out of Irving for quite some time and I am moving back in early June to take over and start making repairs and remodels in my dads house. He lives in old Plymouth park. The house has been left basically the way it was since my parents split although they had started some remodeling before that. My question is, are there any guidelines or restrictions on this neighborhood? Also if any one here has their own business, or can recommend a good local business for several different estimates I'm going to need, I would like to be ready to start making those calls when I get there. I'll be looking for someone with experience in the older homes plumbing (for adding or expanding a bathroom), foundation issues, window installation, and HVAC!! Thanks in advance!!

  I recommend Structured Foundation for foundations issues. 972-484-1200. Used them on several of my real estate deals. Painters Tommy O'Donnell 214-535-3010 (he's from Irving too). On hvac replacement I recommend Richard Calvert at Paradise AC 817-291-4485. Most of the full remodel guys I know are completely booked right now. It's high season for redoing and house sales right now.

  Structured Foundation 972-484-1200. Have used them both as a realtor and for my own home. The vast majority of the time, they have said no work needed to be done. They are very good, honest and if work needs to be done, very reasonable.
