This group has provided a wealth of info thus far- thanks for the add! I have been looking at different options from Intech to Hiker, to CrossCountry, to Tiny Camper Co- Used, to new to custom and everything in between! My head is a little overwhelmed with the different options so perhaps those owners out there can give me some feedback from their own research and purchase. There seems to be a vast price difference between something like a fully outfitted tinycamper co custom build and something like the Hiker. For someone less technical, what is really the difference between the two extremes re: quality and functionality? Feel free to message me privately with your thoughts. My budget is around $7,500. Ability to finance a portion is a plus.
1. Need AC.
2. Need space for a one year old in the form of a very small bunk over our feet or ability to install something removable like the old VW child's cot.
3. We usually haul kayaks and or bikes on either our tow vehicle or camper. Roof racks necessary. Front or rear gear hauler a plus.
4. We don't do serious 4 wheel driving, but one of the reasons we sold our bulkier coleman camper was to get into more remote camping..thoughts towards boondocking and solar.
5. Galley or some kind of cook station a plus.
6. 2 entry doors important.
As you can see, I want it all on a beer budget! Share your brilliance!
