  Hey guys I was hoping someone could help me out and steer me in the right direction. This morning my external hard drive decided to stop working, I have taken it to a computer repair shop to see if they could recover anything from it but was unsuccessful, however they said for $800+ they could send it away to place that could recover everything from it, but unfortunately I don't have that kind of money. I'm absolutely devastated as all my picture of my son were on it and I have no other copies of them :( So if anyway has any ideas or knows of somewhere cheaper where I could get it done that would be great. My computer crashed a week after my last back up and then my external also broke. I've got over 20,000 photos on there of both my kids from birth, wedding photos and life in between. I'm absolutely desperate, as these pictures mean a lot to me.
