  MTG Brokers... heres a lead I got earlier this month and am about to start looking into. any ideas on where to start with this? Clients from HongKong, holding HongKong passport, occasionally visits the UK. has property in London, worth around 5millions, no mortgage or any debt on it. wants to raise 2.5m as investment mortgage... fingers on buzzers please :)

  Best place for this would be a UK clearing bank. The debt size would suggest it needs to fit with a specialist Real Estate Manager. Depending on experience, location and profitability of properties you should be paying around 2.5% over LIBOR. I'm a whole of market commercial mortgage broker, if you need any help drop me a line. What or how would someone transfer their existing portfolio to it, should they and how would they get the cash/investment of those properties. Is there a benefit to this scenario?
